Branch Manager (Columbus)

Telhio Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager for its Worthington office. This manager will direct the operation of the retail staff at the branch office, and provides the main level of sales support and supervision to the branch staff. They will be responsible for directing professional, member-related sales, service, and public relations activities for the attainment of corporate goals and objectives while dealing effectively with members in person, by telephone, Internet and in writing. 

This position will require a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or commensurate experience. At least 3- 5 years of branch operations of a credit union or financial institution. The applicant must have good oral, written, and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with members and staff. Confidentiality of all member account activities and personnel interaction will be required. As well as, possessing a “team” attitude and professionalism.

Internal Audit/Loss Prevention Specialist (Cleveland)

The Ohio Educational Credit Union has a current opportunity for an experienced individual to fill the role of Internal Audit/Loss Prevention Specialist. Reporting to the CFO, this position is responsible for developing and/or maintaining a loss prevention program to mitigate financial losses caused by theft and fraud. Performing internal audit procedures designed around management’s assessment of risk, process improvements and strengthening of internal controls. Responsible for physical security controls across all Credit Union facilities.

Specific duties include: 1). Identify incidents of theft and fraud. 2). Maintain physical security systems including alarms, card access, and CCTV systems. 3). Coordinate and conduct investigations of suspected and/or actual fraud cases, or special audits at the request of management. 4). Prepare accurate and detailed investigation reports to management. 5). Interact with law enforcement agencies. 6). Interact with other financial institution’s loss prevention departments. 7). Process subpoenas for Credit Union records and personnel. 8). Testify in criminal and civil court actions. 9). Administer the vendor relationship with the contracted security guard service. 10). Serve as the onsite loss prevention/security resource for all daily business operations, business interruptions, and other times as directed by management. 11). Review kiting suspect reports for potential fraudulent activity. 12). Perform internal audit procedures, including surprise cash and negotiable item counts, teller drawer audits, employee and member account activity review. 13). Develop and review exception based reporting to detect theft and/or fraud or other control deficiencies. 14). Ensure full documentation is maintained of the audit procedures performed as required by the internal and external audit firms contracted with the Credit Union. 15). Review and/or process Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reporting submitted to regulatory agencies. 16). Knowledgeable of Credit Union’s bond, liability, and property & casualty insurance and process claims related to this coverage. 17). Serve as liaison for Credit Union insurers. 18). Perform other duties as required by senior management.

Job Requirements: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; ability to adapt to a changing work environment and priorities; excellent written, verbal, analytical and problem solving skills; ability to conduct effective interviews and investigations; proficient with Microsoft Office Products; and ability to learn the credit union's financial/operations systems.

Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Three to five years of directly related experience within a financial services environment.

Chief Financial Officer (Hamilton)

A dynamic, $15 million credit union in southwest Ohio is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  The CFO will perform and be responsible for all financial aspects of the credit union including, but not limited to: budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash management, payroll administration, financial statements, federal, state and local tax filings, 401(k) administration, NCUA 5300 report, investment portfolio management, and ALM management.  Conduct financial analyses, special projects, work with senior management, Board of Directors, related committees, and be responsible for documentation of processes, procedures, related internal controls, and compliance.
