OHIO CREDIT UNION CONTACTS FOR FINANCIAL EDUCATION As not-for-profit cooperative financial institutions, Ohio credit unions are dedicated to teaching students about personal finances. Bankruptcies hit an all-time record in 2004 and more people everyday are getting into financial trouble. A little education about responsible personal finance can help children and adults avoid debt, make more money, and keep more of the money that they earn. The following individuals can help your school or organization with free financial education materials and may be available to speak to classes or groups about personal finances, including wise use of credit cards, the importance of savings, interest rates, and similar topics.
