Build support for public funds legislation, answer call to action
The fight for public funds is again underway in the Ohio General Assembly. Bill sponsors of soon-to-be-introduced legislation are currently collecting co-sponsors in the House and Senate. Help gain initial support by answering the Call to Action issued Tuesday by the Ohio Credit Union League.

 

Details, message of impending state public funds legislation
Once the brief period for collecting co-sponsors is over, legislation will be introduced in both chambers of the Ohio General Assembly that would amend the Uniform Depository Act to allow credit unions to accept deposits from public entities such as political divisions, counties, municipalities, schools, and townships.
