Based on member interest and requests, a la carte registration for the Ohio Credit Union System ZENITH06's evening events will be available for guests. Guests can register to attend the Rock and Roll Spectacular at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for $55, and the closing banquet and Magic of Motown concert for $100.

Football legend Theismann to kickoff ZENITH 06
 Super Bowl champion Joe Theismann will share his insight into the parallels between winning in football and in business during the Ohio Credit Union System’s ZENITH06 Opening Spectacular. Theismann will inspire attendees with thoughts on how to succeed under pressure -- when it's "4th and 1" -- and how to adapt quickly to unexpected situations -- when you're faced with a "blitz" instead of a "zone." Following the opening session, which is sponsored by American Share Insurance, Theismann will be available for autographs in ASI’s booth in the Expo Hall.
In February, ESPN announced that Theismann will anchor the network’s Monday Night Football beginning fall 2006. |
NCUA’s Hyland to dialogue with ZENITH06 attendees
 The Regulatory Dialogue session on Friday morning of the Ohio Credit Union System’s ZENITH06 will feature new National Credit Union Administration board member Gigi Hyland. She will join other state and federal credit union regulators to provide updates on their agencies, share their plans, and answer attendees’ questions. Representatives of the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions, American Share Insurance, and the National Credit Union Administration’s Region III office are expected to be in attendance. Hyland was appointed by President Bush in November to a three-year term on the NCUA board. She has 14 years of credit union experience, most recently as general counsel of Empire Corporate FCU in New York, and previously as executive director for the Association of Corporate Credit Unions. |

 The
Ohio Credit Union System’s ZENITH06 will close with a
Friday night concert celebrating “The Magic of Motown.”
Mary Wilson of The Supremes and Martha Reeves of Martha
Reeves and the Vandellas will take you back to the ‘60s as
they perform together and entertain attendees with
well-known hits such as “Baby Love,” “Stop In the Name of
Love,” “You Can’t Hurry Love,” “Heat Wave,” “Dancing in
the Street,” and more. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime

ZENITH 06 Outreach Project
 Children's
Entertainment Library for Rainbow Babies and Children's
Hospital
ZENITH06 attendees are asked to donate items for
babies and children who are patients in Rainbow Babies and
Children's Hospital Health System. rainbow Babies and
Children's Hospital/University Hospitals of Cleveland is
one of the nation's most renowned pediatric medical
centers and serves as a principal referral center for Ohio
and bordering states. More than 850 pediatric specialist,
representing 30 medical and surgical specialties and
subspecialties, are on staff at Rainbow and its 40 special
care centers. Approximately 65% of the patients are under
age 3; 20% of the patients are over age 12.

Leadership awards to be presented at ZENITH06
Winners of the League’s Leadership Recognition Awards will be recognized during the ZENITH06, April 20 – 21, in Cleveland. Winners of the Volunteer of the Year, Professional of the Year, Chapter Effectiveness Award, and Claude Clarke Political Inspiration Award will be presented their awards during the ZENITH06’s Opening Spectacular, sponsored by American Share Insurance, on April 20. Recipients of the Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award, Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action, and Dora Maxwell Award for Social Responsibility will be honored during Thursday night’s Rock ‘n Roll Spectacular at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, sponsored by Corporate One FCU.

The idea behind ZENITH 06 logo ...
As part of the
complete redesign, the Ohio Credit Union System’s annual
convention and expo has been given a new name – ZENITH. ZENITH
means the top, the peak, the best – which aptly describes this
premier Ohio credit union convention and expo hall. ZENITH
will remain the name for the coming years, but the logo will
be modified to highlight a unique feature of the ZENITH’s host
city. This year's logo
highlights the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum which
makes its home in Cleveland. The waves on the left-hand side
of the logo represent the waters of Lake Erie. |
