Ohio Credit Union League &The Rochdale Group
Compliance Consulting Partnership

The Ohio Credit Union League and The Rochdale Group have partnered to offer Ohio's credit unions consulting and compliance services. Consulting services include strategic planning, CUSO development, and general operations. The array of compliance services include reviews (you choose the exact scope of the review, from a single issue to comprehensive), training, office outsourcing, and education.

Additionally, the partnership provides access to "credit union friendly" capital markets -- loan participation and syndication, capital market access, balance sheet strategies, and non-earning asset analysis.

The Ohio Credit Union League's
weekly electronic compliance newsletter that highlights timely, important federal and Ohio-specific compliance topics and issues to help guide staff through the complicated regulatory maze.
 
Ohio CU Quarterly Performance Report
Published by the Ohio Credit Union League, the Ohio CU Quarterly Performance Report
summarize economic issues affecting CU performance; key product and performance drivers influencing credit union operations; peer group financial ratios and numbers; and top Ohio credit unions leading the pack in areas such as growth of shares, loans and members; plus other vital financial ratios.

On behalf of Ohio's credit unions, the Ohio Credit Union League comments on proposed regulatory changes by the Federal Reserve Board, National Credit Union Administration, and other regulatory agencies.
 
RegTraC
CUNA’s RegTraC (Regulatory Training and Certification) is a comprehensive set of six manuals of compliance materials relating to deposit accounts, general operations, consumer lending, mortgage lending, NCUA requirements, and compliance program management. One set of manuals is published for seasoned compliance professionals, and a second set is published for non-compliance staff and volunteers. These manuals run from $35 to $60 each and are updated twice a year. Credit union personnel can earn certification as a Compliance Achievement Award recipient or as a Certified Compliance Expert.
 
NCUA Resource Connection
The National Credit Union Administration's (NCUA) resource of
centralized data regarding credit union business practices, partnership resources, funding, and training opportunities. Includes examples of programs and services offered by credit unions throughout the country; profiles of programs offered by federal government agencies and foundations that partner with NCUA and credit unions; and a listing of scheduled NCUA training events and training opportunities offered by NCUA's partner organizations.

e-Guide
CUNA’s new e-Guide is one of the most exciting developments to assist credit unions with compliance information on a wide range of topics. For the first time in a single place, credit unions can access all legislative and regulatory issues that impact their operations from accounting rules to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). a CUNA password is required (available on their site at www.cuna.org). The e-Guide is also available as a link from CUNA's home page.
