The position is responsible for origination of long-term mortgage loans. Conducts initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares complete loan application packages and necessary documentation. Conveys policies for extension of credit in accordance with Credit Union and secondary investor guidelines.  Meets mortgage loan scheduling and documentation requirements, and production expectations as determined by the loan manager. Serves members, prospective members, builders, developers, and realtors promptly and professionally. Is responsible for producing good quality member loans.  Provides general Credit Union information and cross-sells services. Assists mortgage loan personnel as necessary.

Applicants must be skilled in Microsoft office software, and be flexible and hard-working. Excellent communication and cross-servicing skills. Must exhibit positive attitude and be outgoing. Must demonstrate Credit Union spirit of “people helping people” and embrace everyday challenges willingly.  Professional dress and attitude a must!

FirstDay Federal Credit Union is a full service financial institution seeking friendly, dedicated Part-time Tellers to join its team! FirstDay currently has two part-time teller positions open.   

Part-time tellers are responsible for members by representing FirstDay in a professional manner. The candidate(s) must accurately and efficiently provide a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, etc. and assists other employees with a variety of duties as required. A complete understanding of all FirstDay FCU accounts and services, as well as strong member service skills are essential.  The ability to maintain confidentiality of all member account information and activities is mandatory.

Candidates must have effective communication skills, organizational skills, excellent member service skills, and posses a positive team attitude! Candidate must also be dependable and flexible. POSITION SUMMARY: The State Highway Patrol Federal Credit Union is seeking an individual that displays superior member service skills and a strong sense of organization. The position provides a number of operational functions for the State Highway Patrol Federal Credit Union. To qualify for this dynamic position:

  • Minimum 5 years of strong managerial skills and experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, motivational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.
  • A solid knowledge of Lending (real estate and consumer), Collections, and Federal regulations (including DFI and NCUA rules and policies).
  • Must be capable of uniformly directing the activities of subordinates and handling a large volume of details
  • Capable of analyzing financial/statistical data
  • Must be proficient in the use of standard business applications in a Windows-based environment (i.e., MS Word, Excel).

They must have complete familiarity of all loan transactions and State and Federal lending statutes as they pertain to credit unions, as well as a solid understanding of underwriting criteria used in granting consumer loans. This position will require some off hours including weekends.

Three years plus experience is needed for this position. A proven track record with an established strong realtor/broker relationships are required. Knowledge of secondary marketing and FHA are a plus but not required. Strong comprehension of lending products and application qualifying criteria as well as a good mathematical aptitude will be required to complete job duties. Being a good communicator, self motivating will help to fulfill necessities. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but additional experience may substitute.
