oversee the initiative, Bank On Greater Cincinnati. The successful
candidate will be responsible for implementing the Bank On Greater
Cincinnati pilot over a two-year period. This job will be
responsible for realizing and directing the vision of this Bank On
Greater Cincinnati initiative, overseeing the day to day operations,
and building strong community relations around the issues of banking
and asset building.
Program Overview: An estimated 41,000 Greater Cincinnati households
are “unbanked,” meaning they live without access to basic financial
services, such as a checking or savings account. Among African
Americans and Latinos, approximately half of the adult population
does not have a bank account of any kind. With no safe place to cash
their checks, pay their bills and keep their money, these citizens
are forced to rely on high cost check cashers and other fringe
financial service providers.
The Bank on Greater Cincinnati initiative seeks to address the
problems faced by the unbanked, and help everyone transition into
the financial mainstream. Key job responsibilities will focus on the
following areas:

and credit union partnerships, product development and program
expansion, data tracking and the evaluation process, fundraising,
marketing and media, outreach and community partnerships, financial
training (in partnership with SMCS), and customer service.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s is
